Steel Structural Platform Mezzanine Floor is an intermediate floor between main floors of a building, and therefore typically not counted among the overall floors of a building. The majority of mezzanine floors, which Gold Wind supply and install, are free-standing structures and not fixed to the fabric of the building. However, this can be achieved where necessary.

Mezzanine Floor can be designed for a wide range of applications and usages including storage, offices, and production. The loading of a mezzanine floor can range from 400kg per m2~ 600kg per m2 and will be designed by our project team to suit your requirements.

It is the ideal solution to maximising the space you have available. So instead of moving premises, you use the area above you instead – creating additional floor space from wasted space above your existing working areas.

1. What weight loading is a mezzanine floor limited to? Most weight loadings can be accommodated, from light office occupation to the heaviest of industrial applications. All our floors are custom designed to ensure suitability to your requirements.
2. What is the standard height of a mezzanine floor? We usually designed the decking height of 2440mm / 2740mm / 3040mm , mezzanine floor will be designed to suit your requirements and to suit the use of applications.
3. How quickly can a mezzanine floor be installed? The installation of a mezzanine is quick, it’s usually required about 1~3 weeks or less, as all the major fabrication work is carried out away from your premises and the mezzanine floor is delivered as a complete kit that is then assembled at your premises.
4. What disruption will there be when installing a mezzanine floor? Our installation team will minimise disruption to you and your company by planning the best logistics of installation and timing.
5. Do I need to inform the landlord if I want to install a mezzanine floor? Most landlords will require you to inform them of any proposed works and will normally require confirmation that Building Management’s approval is obtained. Gold Wind Engineering can provide specification design layouts plan for you if required.
6. Are your installers experienced to build mezzanine floors? We have been installing mezzanine floors nationally for over 21 years and have considerable project experience.
